To sell crypto using MoonPay:

  1. Head to myetherwallet.com and access your wallet.

    1. For help with that, take a look at ‘How to Access your Wallet on MEW web’.

  2. When you make it to your MEW dashboard, go ahead and click on ‘Buy/ Sell’ located on the left side menu bar (directly under Account card).

  3. Click on ‘Sell’ then choose the cryptocurrency that you want to sell and the amount that you want to sell. Select 'Sell now' when you're done.

    1. MEW currently supports selling ETH, USDT, and USDC.

  4. Choose or add the bank account that you want to have the funds deposited into. Click ‘Sell now’ when you’re done.

  5. You will now be redirected to the ‘Order confirmation’ page on MoonPay where you can review the details for the sell order. If you click 'View Deposit Details' you’ll be given the address to manually send and sell your funds to. Make sure to copy down that address CAREFULLY.

    1. Users have 20 minutes to complete this transaction or the sale will need to be re-quoted (due to the changing network fees).

  6. Head back to your MEW dashboard and click on the ‘Send’ icon.

  7. Select the currency you're sending, the amount, and enter the address provided on the ‘Order Confirmation’ screen.

    1. It's crucial to make sure that you’re entering the same amount the original sale request was for. Entering a different amount can prolong the process or lead to a failure of the sale. The address MUST be entered (or copied) correctly as well. Double-check for typos.

  8. If all the information is correct, go ahead and click ‘Send’ to complete the sale then head back over to MoonPay, where you can track the progress of your transaction.

    1. For more information on sending transactions, go ahead and check out the ‘How to Send a transaction with MEW web’ article.

Good Job! You just sold some crypto on MEW! In general, deposits are estimated to process within 3-4 business days, so be sure to keep an eye out for that and check your email for any updates from MoonPay.
