Buying Crypto

Open your MEW wallet app and click on the Swap icon (looks like a curved arrow). You can also click on the 'Buy crypto' button directly under your wallet account card.

Choose ‘Buy Crypto’ and select the account that the ETH deposit is for (if you have multiple accounts).

Select the token you want to purchase. In this case we will choose ETH.

First, choose the currency that you're using to purchase the ETH with, then select the amount you want to buy. Click ‘Next’ when you’re done.

On the ‘Select Provider’ screen, go ahead and click on the provider you would like to purchase through.

You will then be redirected to the provider's website where you’ll need to enter your email address to start creating an account. If you’ve already signed up, go ahead and enter the email address you signed up with to log in. Follow the prompts on the provider side to complete your purchase.

After your purchase is completed, head back to your MEW wallet to see your updated balance.

Open the MEW wallet app and change your network to the Polygon network then click on the 'Swap' icon.

Click on ‘Buy POL’ (formerly MATIC).

Select the account where coins should be deposited, if you have multiple accounts.

Select the token you want to purchase. In this case we will choose POL.

Click on the drop-down menu to pick the currency that you’ll be purchasing with.

Pick the amount that you want to buy then click on ‘Buy now’.

In the ‘Select Provider’ screen, go ahead and click on the provider you would like to purchase through.

You will then be redirected to the provider's website where you’ll need to enter your email address to start creating an account. If you’ve already signed up, go ahead and enter the email address you signed up with to log in. Follow the prompts on the provider side to complete your purchase.

After your purchase is completed, head back to your MEW wallet to see your updated balance.

Open the MEW wallet app and change your network to the BNB Smart Chain network then click on the 'Swap' icon.

Click on ‘Buy BNB’.

Select the account where coins should be deposited, if you have multiple accounts.

Select the token you want to purchase. In this case we will choose BNB.

Click on the drop-down menu to pick the currency that you’ll be purchasing with.

Pick the amount that you want to buy then click on ‘Buy now’.

In the ‘Select Provider’ screen, go ahead and click on the provider you would like to purchase through.

You will be redirected to the provider's website where you’ll need to enter your email address and verify your account. If this is your first time using the provider, you will need to create an account and go through the KYC procedure.

After your purchase is completed, head back to your MEW wallet to see your updated balance.

Open the MEW wallet app and click on the Swap icon

In the Swap screen, go ahead and select ‘Sell crypto’.

You’ll then be redirected to MoonPay where you’ll need to choose which currency you wish to sell by expanding the drop-down menu.

Please note: Make sure that when sending the transaction, you’re entering the same amount in the original sell request, AND the ‘TO’ address is entered correctly. Any errors can delay the process and/or cause a requote for your sale.
