Solana Network on MEW Mobile

You can now manage your Solana (SOL) directly in MEW Mobile! MEW makes it simple to access Solana alongside your Ethereum and multichain assets — all in one secure, self-custody wallet.

Whether you’re holding, sending, or receiving SOL, MEW gives you full control with the familiar user experience you already know and trust. No need for separate wallets or complicated interfaces — just open MEW Mobile and start managing your Solana with ease.

Don't have a wallet? Don't LOVE your wallet? Creating a new wallet with MEW is easy.

Open MEW Mobile then change the network to Solana by clicking 'Try Solana on MEW' or using the network drop-down located in the top left-hand corner and selecting 'Solana'.

Step 1. Make sure you are on the Solana network at the top-left then select 'Move your SOL to MEW'.

Step 2. Scroll down then select 'Import my SOL wallet'.

Step 3. Select the backup method you have for your Solana wallet.

- MEW Mobile supports importing a SOL wallet via recovery phrase or private key.

Step 3a. If you are using a paper wallet that has your private key, open your camera app on your phone, scan the code, click on the QR code icon on the bottom right to open a pop up menu, and then click 'Copy'. DO NOT search web for your key and DO NOT send us or anyone else your private key!

Step 3b. Head back to the MEW app and paste your private key into the text field here, and click 'Import' at the top of the screen.

Step 4. Your Solana wallet will be imported alongside your MEW wallet. Once it is finished click 'Continue'.

Step 5. You should now see your Solana wallet on your MEW Mobile app!

Step 1. Make sure you are on the Solana network at the top-left then select 'Move your SOL to MEW'.

Step 2. Scroll down then select 'Send SOL to myself'.

Step 3. You can now send SOL to your wallet by copying the address or scanning the QR code.

Step 1. Make sure you are on the Solana network at the top-left then select 'Buy SOL'.

Step 2. Select the 'Buy' button on the right of the SOL token option.

Step 3. If you have multiple accounts you will need to select the account you want to deposit into.

Step 4. Choose the currency that you’ll be purchasing with and the amount you want to spend, or select Custom to enter amount manually.

Step 5. Choose which provider you want to use to buy your SOL. You’ll then be redirected to the provider's website to finish your purchase. Please note that KYC may be required by the provider, but MEW does not collect or store any personal user data.

Step 1. Make sure you are on the Solana network at the top-left.

Step 2. Click the ‘Swap’ tab at the bottom of the app interface and then click ‘Swap tokens’.

Step 3. When you get to the Swap window, choose the token that you are swapping on top, and tap on ‘Select token’ to find the token that you want to swap for.

Note that the token you are swapping for may be on another network, like Ethereum. Make sure you are selecting the network where you want your swapped tokens to be (click on the 'Ethereum' dropdown to switch networks).

Keep in mind that not all tokens will be available for swap on MEW wallet. If you don't see the token you want to swap, it might only be available to swap on an exchange that supports it.

Step 4. Enter amount that you would like to swap and click ‘Preview swap' to see best offer, other offers, and estimated swap fees.

Step 5. If everything looks good, click 'Proceed with swap'.

Step 6. Once you initiate and confirm the swap, you can tap on 'View progress' to see the transaction status in a block explorer.
