Mint ETH Blocks

*The screenshots that follow show the process as completed on the testnet Rinkeby, with RIN as the main currency. The steps will be exactly the same on mainnet Ethereum, but you'll see fee amounts in ETH.

Step 1. Head to MyEtherWallet.com.

Step 2. Access your wallet. For help with this step, see How to Access Your Wallet with MEW Portfolio.

Step 3. Head to the Apps section from the left-hand menu and select ETH Blocks.

Step 4. Enter the block number that you wish to mint. To explore and find information about blocks on Ethereum, use our block explorer ethVM.

  • Please keep in mind that the block number entered must be smaller or equal to the Max block value provided.

Step 5. If the block is available, go ahead and click 'Mint Block'. Keep in mind that minting NFTs on Ethereum involves a gas (network) fee, so make sure you have some ETH in the wallet to cover it. If you need more, you can buy ETH right in MEW Portfolio.

  • If the block is unavailable, then it can't be minted at this time. You'll need to enter a different block number.

  • You can select the 'Add to batch' button to add the selected block to your bulk minting batch. You can view the ETH Blocks in your batch by selecting the 'Bulk Minting' tab.

Step 6. The transaction's confirmation window will now pop up. Make sure to double-check that all of the information is correct. If everything looks good, go ahead and click 'Confirm and Send'

  • If you've accessed your wallet with MEW Mobile or another mobile wallet, a hardware wallet, or a browser wallet like Enkrypt, please make sure to approve the transaction on that wallet as well.

Step 7. Once the transaction processes, you're all set! Allow some time for the transaction to process. You can always track the progress by viewing it on ethVM.
